This is what Scott Adams (creator of Dilbert) looks like in SL. He’s had his RL head modeled. I’m wondering if this is the future of virtual worlds. Will our av’s really look like us?

Which companies have a presence in Second Life at the moment? Check out this map.
If you’re in marketing, you need to ask yourself: what do they know that you don’t? And, if you’re on the side of the fence that says that Second Life is a waste of time/money/energy, then answer this question: what data do you have to justify that position that you think these companies *don’t* have?
TPN HQ meetup

We’ve had a bunch of people visit the TPN HQ in Second Life tonight. All together I’ve counted 20 people. We’ve sat around and talked about Second Life, transhumanism, politics, you name it. A very varied discussion. At one point we were all even blown up by some C4 explosive and killed. Very cool.
Update: We had 30+ people turn up last night at various stages. Lots of great discussions. Hope to you see you all visit soon.
