G’Day World Highlights – Dr John Demartini
Posted on 08. Jan, 2009 by Cameron in motivation, Podcast
Well folks… it’s 2009 and I’m going through the archives, still trying to piece together the missing shows. I’m re-discovering lots of old shows myself and thinking “wow, I should listen to that one again”. And so, while I’m busy trying to fix stuff, I thought I’d plug a few of the old shows that you may have missed or may need to listen to again.
In August 2007 I had Dr John Demartini on my show for the first time. He’s a motivational speaker and author from the USA who is different from the usual folks. He actually seems be about more than just ‘rah rah’ and PMA. His ideas have some grounding in science. I think I need to listen to this episode on a more regular basis myself. Hope you enjoy it (again).

G’Day World #318 – Bill Liao
Posted on 11. Mar, 2008 by Cameron in Australian media, entrepreneurialism, motivation, Podcast, social activism, social responsibility, success
Bill Liao is one of those guys I just love to talk to. He’s smart, successful, humble, visionary – and nice to boot. Just who the hell does he think he is?
Apart from being a successful serial entrepreneur and a co-founder of Xing.com (a massive social networking site based in Europe), Bill is also driving an amazing project called Declare! where he’s encouraging everyone to make a “Declaration of Global Citizenship”. I spoke to Bill earlier today about his background, his motivation, his vision for the human race and what we’d all do if we’re ever taken over by lizard aliens from another planet. Strap yourselves in kids – this show is pretty awesome.
The music track today is:
310
“Fortuitous Bounce” (mp3)
from “Sixes and Sevens”
(Conduit Records)

G’DAY WORLD #276 – Dr John Demartini, Inspirational Speaker and Author
Posted on 17. Aug, 2007 by Cameron Reilly in motivation, Podcast
A few months ago I was on the phone to a friend of mine and said “The questions you ask yourself define your reality”. My friend then introduced me to the work of Dr John Demartini. A few things surprised me when I read the information on his website. The first was that he actually sounded a lot like me, so I knew he must be a good, highly intelligent guy.
The second surprise was that he was one of the people featured on “The Secret”. Now… you know what I think about that film. And there seemed to be a disconnect between the stuff I read on Demartini’s site and what I remember from the film (it’s been a year since I saw it).
Then, in a “synchronicity” moment (one of Demartini’s favourite words), Dr Peter Ellyard introduced me to author Liliane Grace (her podcast, based on her book “The Mastery Club“, will be starting on TPN soon) and who should have written the introduction to her book?? Dr John Demartini.
So I asked for an introduction, had my people call his people, and today I got to chat with him from his hotel in Seattle.
Listen to how he separates his work from the mumbo-jumbo of “The Secret” and his tips for figuring out how to get the most out of your life.

You can find out more about his books and seminars on his website (link) and you can get a free CD with more information on the “Demartini Method” by clicking on this link:

G’DAY WORLD #225 – Jason Womack, Mr. Motivation
Posted on 10. Apr, 2007 by Cameron Reilly in motivation, Podcast, productivity
Did you ever meet someone so positive, so UP!!!, that just talking to them makes you want to lie down and rest? Jason Womack is one of those guys. Jason is a keynote speaker, professional educator and executive coach. After working for The David Allen Company (Getting Things Done) for seven years as a senior trainer, not to mention running the occasional triathlon, he’s recently started his own company The Jason Womack Company which he describes as “a personal development education company”. I asked him why? “Because I wanted to be a beginner again.”
We chatted today about how he stays so up, what he plans to contribute to the betterment of the human race, how he manages his daily schedule, his tips and tricks for getting things done, and what kind of questions he asks himself.
Read Jason’s blog here. Okay… I need a lie down.
