Windows (Almost) Live

Is anyone else having trouble getting the Windows Live Gallery to work? A couple of times in recent weeks I’ve had an idea for a widget I would like to have on my Vista sidebar, so I went to the gallery… and waited… waited… waited for it to load.
If I click “All Categories” is just sits there forever loading… in FF and IE. If I give in and click on some of the categories, I find that some work, but most time out.
Is it just me?
UPDATE: I decided to trash Vista’s sidebar and go back to Google’s. Oh hey, it actually works! No wonder their share price is actually going up…
