Assuming the ROM was corruped , I downloaded the file from the HTC/DOPOD club and reistalled everything. still not cured. The phone simply freezes up, it can happen even when its on power save mode with blank screen. Nothing other than removing the battery can restart it. Anyway not for too long.. what next I ponder. I think the phone is okay - the usual problems with a Windows PDA, ie its slow and needs to be re-booted a few times every day to keep memory leaks down - but all in all I havent seen anything else in this market that gives me 3G and Wifi.
