<description>Well, if I go to buy something on eBay and the person has a 100 good responses, I know that 100 people that have had a REAL transaction with this person where happy. I also know that they probably haven&#039;t spent that money and time setting up 100 transactions just to rip me off say $70 bucks (it would cost them more in Fees!!!).

On Rapleaf, there is no test that there was actually a transaction. Admittedly, over time the bad people will be weeded out, but if they pick off 1 or 2 people at a time, can you trust it?

The other thing, as I understand it (and I could be wrong) is that it is in eBays interest to keep the system right. They have systems to sort this sort of thing out. What are RapLeaf going to do if you pay someone for something because they have a good RapLeaf rating and they don&#039;t diliver? Are they going to get involved in the resolution of that or are they going to say the Transaction is outside their control?

Having said all this, I would image that Auren should buddy up to Mr Arrington as I would have thought that something like this is exactly what he needs to partner with his own Edgio product.

<description>Surely the biggest Con in this system compared to eBay ratings is that to move your rating in eBay, you have to actually buy and sell stuff. I am not a huge eBay user (my wife is) but I think you can click though to the items bought and sold (for a while anyway). With Rapleaf, you have no proof that there really was a transaction at all!

On the Lou Reed - Italy, could be because Lou was at the Winter Olympics in Torino.

Good luck with Halo (you know its the Man dumbing you down!).
